We are gearing up for our next event and getting excited to spend a summer evening with you listening to true stories. We’ve had two great events so far and our kick off back in April at the Crocker was a huge success! Thanks to all our readers and everyone who showed up — we had a fantastic turn out and we were completely overwhelmed by your response to the art and the topic of Remembering 1963.

As we prepare for the July event, we are looking for stories — please help spread the word! Anyone can submit to be considered as a featured reader with 10 minutes to read something published or from a work-in-progress. We will also be bringing back the open mic from our soft launch that was a big hit. So if you’re not quite ready to submit as a featured reader, please come and sign up for the open mic when you arrive. Open mic-ers get 5 minutes each, and as many people can read as time allows.

In the meantime, if you have questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch via email at tellatruestory (at) gmail (dot) com.

We can’t wait to see you in July!
